3 signs you’re ready to go after what you want

You know that thing you really want?
The one that’s been whispering in the back of your mind for months (or years)?

Maybe you haven’t even said it out loud because…
OMG IF YOU SAY IT OUT LOUD IT BECOMES REAL AND THEN YOU HAVE TO ADMIT YOU DON’T HAVE IT YET AND THAT FEELS TERRIBLE AND YOU’D RATHER JUST PRETEND YOU’RE FINE THANKS.

I get it. I’ve been there.

But here’s the truth: feeling ready is a myth.
You won’t wake up one day with zero fear, perfect clarity, and a detailed 37-step action plan.
You’ll just wake up tired of your own excuses.

If that’s where you are, here are 3 signs you’re more ready than you think (even if your brain is screaming otherwise.)

1 - You want it (and you can’t un-want it)

That small, persistent voice that says “there’s more for me”?
That’s not delusion. That’s data.

We’ve been taught to treat our desires with suspicion. To believe they’re selfish, unrealistic, or inconvenient. So we bury them under to-do lists and “shoulds.”

But that longing you feel? It’s your inner GPS. It’s pointing you toward growth.

Wanting something more doesn’t make you ungrateful.
It makes you honest.

Pro tip: Start by writing down what you want. Even if it feels too big, too weird, or too late.
Your desires are evidence of what’s possible for you, not proof that you’re failing.

2 - You’re not sure if it’s possible for you

But you’re saying there’s a chance.

Sure, it feels like a 1% chance. But that’s enough.
Every breakthrough starts with “impossible.”

Thirty years ago, the idea of holding the internet in your pocket sounded insane. Now we call it Tuesday.

The real question isn’t “Is it possible?”
It’s “Is it possible that I’m wrong about what’s impossible?”

If the answer is yes, you’re already moving forward.
Doubt doesn’t mean you’re not ready — it means you’re on the edge of expansion.

Pro tip: Instead of asking “Can I do this?” ask “What would it take to try?”
That tiny shift turns fear into curiosity — and curiosity creates momentum.

3 - You don’t know if you’re really ready

Here’s the secret no one tells you: no one feels ready before they start.
Confidence doesn’t come first. Action does.

You don’t need to know the exact how.
You don’t need a 12-month plan or everyone’s approval.
You just need to know you’ll have your own back no matter what happens.

When you commit to showing up for yourself (messy, scared, imperfect), the “how” unfolds one step at a time.

That’s exactly how my client Tirzah went from overwhelmed and underpaid to fully booked and featured in The New York Times.

When we started working together, she didn’t feel ready to hire a coach, start a business, or post online.
She did it anyway.

And that’s the key:
Successful people don’t wait until they feel ready.
They choose to feel brave instead.

The Real Sign You’re Ready

You wouldn’t be reading this if you weren’t.
You’re already asking the right questions. You’re already imagining what’s possible.

You don’t need permission, perfect timing, or proof.
You just need to take one brave step (even a small one) and trust that you’ll figure out the rest.

Because readiness isn’t a feeling. It’s a decision.

And if you want to jump into this work and go deep now, then you’ll want to set up a call with me to talk about working together 1:1.
